Carbon fibers are threads that are artificially carbonized at around 1500°C from acrylic yarns with a thickness of 7 microns (1 micron = 1/1000 mm), and they have a strength that is ten times that of steel. They weigh one-fourth of steel and are excellent materials used in aerospace, aviation, and automotive industries.
